Teen cancer survivor looked to hockey team for inspiration – his cancer came back 5 times

16-year old aspiring doctor and cancer survivor Tony Colton looked towards the Tampa Bay Lightning NHL hockey team for inspiration during his battle with cancer.

Tony Colton, who has undifferentiated sarcoma, a type of soft tissue sarcoma, has fought back his cancer 5 times since he was diagnosed in 2011. Now cancer-free he is an advocate for pediatric cancer and hopes one day to give back to charity.

The Tampa Bay Lightning, who are perennial underdogs couldn’t be a better inspiration to fight against all odds to beat his cancer and give other children hope.

Tony believes he can provide hope to children with cancer and give them a second chance.
