Ovarian cancer is very rare in children, but this young girl knows she has hope with her family by her side and prayers from well-wishers.
Instead of playing with her friends, 9-year-old Dakota Rose of Australia is having many rounds of chemotherapy to save her life from ovarian cancer, a cancer that causes more deaths than any other cancer of the female reproductive system.

According to the National Cancer Institute, roughly 22,000 women are diagnosed with ovarian cancer each year and experts estimate that 500 to 1,000 cases occur in females under age 20.
So far they have created a GoFundMe page to raise money for treatment and support, but most of all they need your prayers, as her mom Pam Rose put it: “We believe the power of prayer will really help.”
