You can be a model at any age as a cancer survivor – these ladies took to the catwalk

Cancer did not dampen their spirit, and these women showed you can still strut your stuff even after battling cancer.

Courage on the Catwalk, a charity event started by cancer charity Friends of ANCHOR in Scotland, highlights 24 courageous models who have beaten cancer with strength and determination.

These inspirational women ranging in ages from the twenties to the sixties, got the royal treatment with hair and makeup and beautiful clothes, showing that you can take to the catwalk at any age and after a life-changing event like cancer.

These inspirational cancer survivors got the princess treatment on the catwalk.

Not only did these cancer survivors share their story of courage and hope to fellow models, but gave inspiration to other cancer survivors, showing that you are still beautiful and are deserving of the princess treatment.

These ladies overcame their fear of even something as simple as wearing heels after been on flats during chemotherapy to overcoming any body image issues they may have had as a result of their cancer battle, to showing the world that they still got it. I say you go girl!!
