I am 34 years old and I have been living with herpes for about 7 years. I haven't really dated alot but I now have a girlfriend that I love dearly and do not want to lie to her because our relationship is based esp. on trust. I want to tell her but I'm very scared that she will leave me. I really love her...how can I break this to her?

Thanks for the advise. I told my girlfriend last week thursday and as expected she was shocked and confused. I'm given her time to think things over, and I hope she comes to realization that our love can overcome this. Time will tell...I truly do love her
