My mother, who is 71 years old was seen at this doctor's office in December of 2011. She had a broken front tooth which he had already attempted to fix with no success. He advised that a root canal was needed and her inssurance would not cover the proceedure; she would have to pay out of pocket $800.00. She went for a second opinion & found out the insurance would pay. We just rec'd confirmation from the ins com that they would pay Dr.Kassab (didn't they say she had to pay?). I just called his office to let them know that my mother would have the proceedure done some place else. The office manager(Indra) told me that my mother should not have gone for a second opinion because it was bad manners. She was very rude because she now has to cancel their coverage request from the ins com. Last I knew, we have the right to a second opinion.
