Now that the Senate have passed their version of the healthcare reform bill, what is next? Even though I think the current version of the Senate healthcare bill is a bit watered down, passing some form of healthcare bill with some consumer protections, especially from pre-existing conditions is much needed.  I am just disappointed that without a robust public option, the potential for sustained lower premiums for most Americans may not be realized. Either way, I commend President Obama and the Democratic Senators for their effort in pulling off this high-wire act.
