Having Christmas with our kids and family is a cherished tradition, but some families may not have that. In the case of Dax Locke, a 2 year old boy from Washington, IL who has terminal Acute  Myeloid Leukemia (AML) – a rare form of leukemia. I have blogged a lot about blood disorders and cancers and I understand what his parents are going through. His parents, Austin & Julie Locke, have been told that he probably only has anywhere from 4-8 weeks left.

Since he loves Christmas lights, his neighborhood has brought out other Christmas lights in support of him, and we hope that he lives past Christmas day. This little boy needs all the support he can get. So if you can bring out your Christmas lights and light it up a bit early for Dax, that would show your support for his life and his condition. Also, watch this video about Christmas lights for Dax Locke termed “Decorate For Dax.”
