Healthcare Reform Delay Tactic: Abortion Rights

It seems to me that Republicans and moderate Democrats have come up with yet another delay tactic. I don’t understand why the abortion issue should even be in the healthcare reform debate. That has already been addressed by the courts and the Hyde Amendment. It is a shame that some politicians would use whatever tactics to block meaningful change. I just hope they never end up without health insurance and have a chronic illness, because they would wish they had thought long and hard about all these childish squabbles.
