I don’t necessarily think he did, but with thousands of people waiting for liver transplants, I am wondering how he got one so fast. According to the United Network for Organ Sharing, 15,756 people were on the liver transplant waiting list as of 9:25 am today. So it is safe to say that as of the time of Steve Jobs liver Transplant, at least over 15,000 people were on the waiting list. Are the doctors that did his liver transplant telling me that he was the sickest patient out of the roughly 15,000 people on the waiting list? You decide for yourself. I rest my case.

I have been on the list for 5 years. Jobs getting a liver is against most of the rules to even qualify. If it is the last thing I do I will find out what the person or persons name was that DIED because this scum bought his way for a little longer life. I cannot imagine how he can sleep at night. A coward in every sense of the word. Maybe his money can bring some comfort to the people he cheated out of lfe. You think a couple million per person on the list would do? A free phone perhaps. I for one can tell you where shove it!

I feel for you Chuck. It is sad that you have been on the list for 5 years and he jumped the line and got his. Shame on Steve Jobs. Just like I thought, money talks and everything else walks. Those doctors that did the liver transplant have alot of explaining to do in my opinion. I hope you get your liver transplant soon.

You cannot buy yourself a quicker organ LOL. It amazes me that people think this. Then again it is not surprise to me because usually those individuals that have the most to say about something, end up being the most ignorant. Here is something for all you ignorant morons to ponder:

Is it easier to die if you are wealthy and famous? Hmm? Just in the past 2 years Heath Ledger, Anna Nicole Smith and now Michael Jackson have died at the hands of prescription drugs supplied by doctors. If you look into this further you will be smacked in the face many times by the truth that money cab buy you your death. Still questioning this? Research how Elvis died. The common themes that every one of these people have in common is fame, wealth and prescription drugs prescribed by doctors.

    Chuck,

I feel for you and hope everything works out. Please check with your transplant team. You have either been mislead or you are not aware of the federally run UNOS system and how it works. The only way money can help someone is that if money is not an issue for an individual, they can register at multiple transplant centers if they can meet the proper criteria at each center. However, that is no different than someone wanting to go to the best cancer specialist they think they can find if they have cancer. Doing this did appear to help Farrah Fawcett extend her life a bit. But most people would not be able to afford to do what she did because her travel and multiple treatments in Germany were all out of pocket for her.

What transplant center/centers are you listed at? If your center is telling you that money can bump someone up on the transplant list, I would find a new center ASAP! Please be careful Chuck!! You may be the one that could really suffer if you are dealing with liars!
