With over 100 dead from the swine flu virus in Mexico, and an estimated 1,600 infected, the swine flu could potentially have such effects in the United States. With swine flu showing up all over the world, what exactly is the swine flu?

The H1N1 swine flu virus is a new virus, with genes from human and avian flus as well as the swine variety. While the swine flu is not a pandemic right now, when it evolves into a more dangerous strain, it could become more dangerous to people and its deadly effects will be more apparent.
