That is if men think that losing weight through diet and exercise is all that needs to be done. According to a report in the journal Diabetes Care, researchers found that while in their study, those that went on an “intensive” regimen of calorie-cutting and exercise lowered their risk of developing diabetes over the next year, for men there were no greater reduction in diabetes risk. Basically men just have to work harder at reducing their diabetes risk.
