Salmonella Cases Cause Tomato Ban

With McDonald’s announcement Monday that the corporation will cease using tomato toppings on its meals until further notice, in reaction to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration and the Center for Disease Control linking tomatoes to the salmonella outbreak, the scare is on. Burger King and Subway are also following McDonald’s path, and they are announcing they will not serve tomatoes in all of its stores.
