Doctor Search Ratings

Much has been made lately about using doctor ratings to search for a doctor, but when you look at it, even with friends and family to ask for referrals, it is still difficult to nail down a doctor that meets our criteria of a good doctor in terms of office staff, and being listened to attentively by their physician. Don’t get me wrong, these doctors are great, especially as it pertains to their training, the only issue comes up with their people skills. I asked an office manager at my physical medicine doctor the other day for the best pediatrician in the city I lived, and she said: “I don’t know, I am looking for one myself.” That tells me that even those in the medical field, don’t even know where to turn to for a great doctor in their metro area.
