Seasoned Turkey Burgers

Since turkey is lower in fat than ground beef, it needs the extra punch of seasonings used in this recipe. Serve on a whole grain roll with lots of lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Delicious!

Diet Types: Low Fat, Low Carbohydrate, Low Calorie

Ingredients:

1 pound freshly ground turkey breast

1 egg, slightly beaten

1 tablespoon vegetarian Worcestershire Sauce

1 tablespoon Dijon-style mustard

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup minced red onion

1/4 cup parmesan cheese

1/4 cup minced parsley

Serves: 4

Cooking Time: Under 30 minutes

Instructions:

Preheat broiler. In a large bowl, combine ingredients and mix thoroughly. Shape into patties and place on lightly oiled aluminum foil. Broil 6″ from heat for about 4-6 minutes on each side. Burgers will turn whitish when cooked.
