New Test Shows Baby’s Gender in 6 Weeks
May fuel the controversy of the ethics of abortion:

Special DNA testing will allow women to know the gender of their unborn baby just six weeks into their pregnancy. Available in the U.S and U.K., though a couple can purchase the kit over the internet, which will then be sent through the post complete with a prepaid return envelope. The kit, which is sold by DNA Worldwide, provides everything needed to take a prick of blood from the mother, which is returned for testing and the result made available online or by post in a maximum of six business days. The test is claimed to be 99% accurate.
Will it allow couples to “play God” and abort children if they are not of the gender they want? It is possible, and we will be watching to see how this test fuels the controversy of the ethics of abortion.
