Partial-Birth Abortion Debate
Is this a brazen attack on the health and safety of women?
With the recent ruling by the Supreme Court, are we seeing a gradual slide in the right of women to have an abortion? Or is it the sign of the times? We must understand that the Supreme Court was upholding a law passed by Congress in 2003 making it illegal for doctors to use the partial-birth abortion method to destroy a fetus. Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, in her dissent, said it would “put a woman’s health at greater risk.” Now, if a female Supreme Court Justice feels this way, why don’t we listen to her, and let women choose what is right for them.
